HELLO, I'M HANGA SMALL INTRODUCTION

Order,curiosity& possibility.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I'm a quiet person with a curious mind and, perhaps, a stronger opinion or two than you might expect.

I enjoy listening, observing, and understanding how things work. But I'm equally happy to question an idea, offer a different perspective, or stand by something I believe in.

01 / ABOUT ME

Making sense of things.

I've always been curious about how things fit together — the numbers, the processes, and the people behind them.

Useful beats impressive.— a thought I keep coming back to

I enjoy bringing some order to complicated situations, but I'm also curious about what could be done differently. Sometimes that means improving an existing process. Other times, it means learning something completely new.

I've learned that even a good idea can turn out differently in practice. I try to stay open to feedback, question my own assumptions, and make improvements as I go.

02 / WORK & SYSTEMS

The work behind the way things work.

MY PATH SO FAR

Over the past 10+ years, I've worked across different sides of business — from accounting and international sales to finance, people operations, and broader business management.

Moving between these roles has given me a wider perspective on how a business works. I've come to appreciate how closely connected people, numbers, customers, and processes really are — and how understanding one part often helps make sense of another.

Different roles. Connected pieces.

SELECTED WORK / FLYNK

More than a form.

At Flynk, I designed and built a performance management system from scratch using Airtable and Make, connecting feedback, reviews, next-cycle goals, and regular catch-ups across offices in Vietnam, Australia, and Ukraine.

It was one part of a broader HR system I developed as the company grew, alongside recruitment, onboarding, employee information, and other people processes.

03 / THE THINGS I BUILD

Little experiments with AI & a bit
of imagination.

I often find myself wishing an app worked a little differently. Sometimes it’s a feature I can’t find. Sometimes I just wish something felt a little warmer, prettier, or more personal.

I like useful things, but I also like things with character. What I never imagined was that AI would make building my own applications possible, even without a software engineering background. Ideas that once felt out of reach suddenly became things I could actually try.

There's still so much I'm learning, and building something that works the way I imagine is rarely as simple as it sounds. But I love that I can now turn some of those little ideas into something real.

PERSONAL PROJECT / LEARNING WITH AI

Iteri.

It started with a quiz. Then I imagined more.

First I wanted AI to grade and explain the exercises in my Japanese textbooks. Then I started thinking about reading, vocabulary, grammar, and listening — bringing more of the book into one place.

AI helped me build it; my experience with processes helped me guide the work and keep refining what didn't work.

02 / PERSONAL FINANCE

Jarli.

Money is practical. Life is personal.

I've spent years working with financial reports, but I never wanted my personal finances to feel like another spreadsheet.

I imagined an app that could help me make sense of my money, plans, and goals — something practical, but also warm, playful, and full of personality.

Because money is part of everyday life, and managing it doesn't have to feel so serious.

Still taking shape.

AND IN MY NOTEBOOK...

There’s Hearth, a cozy meal-planning app, and Rhythm, a habit tracker that fits real life. Plus a few more ideas waiting patiently in my notebook. If only I had more time to build them all.

04 / BEYOND WORK

A little life outside work.

Outside work, I enjoy playing the piano, learning languages, baking, and catching up with friends over coffee. I'm quite happy spending a quiet afternoon at home, but I also love getting out and trying something different.

I've enjoyed trekking, scuba diving, archery, and learning to longboard — with varying degrees of success.

Looking at my hobbies, I've noticed that most of them take patience and a fair bit of practice. I think I enjoy the process of slowly getting better at something just as much as the activity itself.

Still learning, even here.
